By road:

Take either the exit Figueres-Nord or Figueres-Sud off the motorway A-7 (E-9) and connect to the national road N-260 towards Llançà. Pass the turning to Vilajuïga and you'll see the castle at your right hand side.

R.E.N.F.E. trains operate on the line Barcelona-Portbou (French border), Portbou-Barcelona: www.renfe.es

Take a Renfe Regional Delta train (slow) from Barcelona or from Portbou to Vilajuïga train station.

Or take a Renfe Catalunya Express train (fast) from Barcelona or Portbou to Figueres, where many long distance trains stop.

From Figueres you can either connect with a Regional Delta train to Vilajuïga, or take a bus to Vilajuïga.

By bus:
