PROJECT ORGAN OF THE TRAMUNTANA
Dalí's bright idea of installing the Organ of the Tramuntana at the Castle of Quermançó is widely known. He thought this organ should play music activated by the strength of our powerful northern wind. The promoters of this project are willing to make his dream come true. A viable project has been designed in order to build the Organ of the Tramuntana at the castle of Quermançó and include it in the acts of the painter's Centenary in 2004. The rehabilitation of the castle of Quermançó and the creation of the Organ of the Tramuntana will enlarge the tourist offer of the Alt Empordà region based on culture, art and leisure, and will ensure the protection of its natural environment.

In the sixties, Salvador Dalí declared his purpose of acquiring the majestic remains of the castle for Gala's residence.
